Some plants may double or triple in size. You also have to factor distance from light and height of reflector, container size and dimensions to get an idea. You can always work some training/topping techniques to manage height. So maybe flower before hitting over 24" to be on the safe side.

Veg until they are half the height you want to harvest at. For instance, I like to harvest when the plants finish at 44-48 inches. I know they will pretty much double in height while flowering (called stretching). So I veg to 20-24 inches then move them to flower. BigSteve.

Veg until u see fit. plants generally doue in height during bloom and if room is a factor yes lst during veg itll help you shape the plants growth.

I like to veg 30 days minimum. I always LST early during vegging when plant is maybe 3 weeks. It will force the plant grow multiple top colas. I simply LST it once, tying the main stalk down. And that's it, besides a little selective pruning on only the fan leaves that are blocking flowers.

I vegged my feminized White Widow for 35 days under 1000W MH and then switched to 12/12 HPS. They were 10-13" tall at that point. I am on day 26 of flower and they stand 42-45". I know every grow and strain is different but in my grow the White Widow at least tripled in height. They have just started to slow vertical growth.
