What height do you keep your 240w QB for veg

I’d love some input on to how high I should keep my lights, it’s my first grow

around 20 inch mark is their sweet spot, little higher for delicates.

You arent providing enough info about your setup to really say. Buying a Dr Meter Lux meter is one of the best investments you can make though.

At a high height with enough power it creates a very even spread and as you get closer it becomes more of a point source.

I have run full power as close as 14" and also at 30". Electricity cost is also a factor. Having dimming on your lights is a very nice feature too.

It’s a kingbrite 288 I think and it’s in a 3x3 with 4 plants if that helps, it also has a dimmer

At full power I would start at 30". If I could control it with a dimmer and use a lux meter I would start at aboout 24" and let them grow to about 18" away and keep it at that distance.
