I am doing an experiment in growing marijuana inside of a 2 liter bottle. my question is do you think the weed like curve around and all you will see in the bottle is green and covered? or will the plant be forced to flower and bud at a early stage?

I think it will die because it has no carbon dioxide to breathe.
I think he means a 2 liter bottle with the lid cut off. At least I hope.
It will work, but the results won't be quite up to par. Too small of a container will restrict the overall size of the plant. General rule is one gallon soil per month of growth. You'd have better results flowering clones in them.

small area = small roots = small plant. ur propably gaunna have other problems like root tangle, mold, watering problems etc. i quite like ur idea but i'd try in a much larger container like the water dispenser bottles, the must hold about 8 gallons maybe 12 or more

you dont need huge spaces for roots... as long as you can supply the plant with plenty of water and nutes (via a drip system or something along those lines) then it will be fine and can grow quite large...

people trip out when they run out of root space.. the main problem with running out of root space is that the soil drys out a lot faster.. this is because the plant itself usually requires more liquid and food than the soil/pot can hold... this is where the drip system comes in.. as long as the plant has plenty of water and food to absorb, the root mass can be much smaller....

now it is easier to get larger plants in larger container because there is more soil to hold more water and more food.. plus a large container takes more water to wet down... but, you can easily grow a large plant in a small container with little problem as long as water and food as available based on the plants needs..

now im not saying a 10 foot plant can be grown in a 1 gallon container.. but a 4 ft tall (thats after the flower stretch) plant with a drip system could easily be grown in a 1 or 2 gallon pot...
