if ya have to take a bud from the bottom. what happens is you wont have a bud on the top.

wouldnt i take some from the top since its more matured? and will the rest of the plant just keep maturing or will its stress the plant to hermie?

It wont stress it per-say. Cut it off and smoke it.

Keep in mind that its gonna taste like a lawmower unless you let it dry slowly, and it wont be very potient, unless its ready to harves anyway.
