What happened to this plant and how do I prevent this in the future?

I just chopped her yesterday and the buds didn’t seems to be affected, but around the end of week 8 of flowering the fan leaves started getting fried. It started out with little spots that suggested a deficiency, but I didn’t feel like feeding near the 60 day mark. Some of the leaves got just a few spots, and some got completely fried.

There were some gnats or fruit flies in there and I was thinking maybe they were shitting on the leaves, but none of the other plants were affected.

My final theory, and the one I think is correct, is that my lights were turned up too bright, which combined with the low humidity and high heat just burned them. I’ve got two 120 watt boards evenly spaced in the middle, and another 240 watts of bars around the perimeter of the tent, which is 3x3. I live in a hot, dry climate and my thermo/hygro says 37% humidity and 32c (almost 90f). I prefer to find plants that can handle some temp swings and low humidity, but this one is fire and I want to get her dialed in. This cut is worth perfecting for the big yield and serious frost.

I chopped her at 71 days and next time I want to let her go 84 days during the cooler months. Anyway here’s some pics that show the damage. These pics don’t even show the worst because somebody leaves got totally fried. Bonus pic of the harvest too. Strain is purple punch backcrossed to Larry.

I think that some of the issues are the conditions in your grow.
90 deg and 37%RH places a huge VPD on the leaf surface, so it's literally ripping moisture from the leaf surface.
I agree. You think running a humidifier near my intake/inside the tent is the best bet? The air’s moving pretty fast through the tent and the brutal dry hot summers are always just been something I’ve put up with living here, but if lowering the temps isn’t realistic then increasing the humidity is the next best thing. I hate seeing my leaves get fried like that.
