so i had my 2 types of cuttings/clones from a plant 4 months into flower. few just in water with misted humidity dome over it and rest of cuttings under my 4x32w t8 fixture in soil with homemade 2 litre pop bottle humidity domes water misted 2 to 3 times a day since wednesday night to this mornign so close to 72 hours. with small air breaks.
but when i went to check my clones this morning the leaves were all mangeled some of the stems are weak and had this white spiderweb shit on them. looks like there dying.
did i leave my humidity domes on too long with to much moisture ?
is there there to much heat/ light in my grow box?
i dunno but it wierd because the ones that were in water with the humiditiy dome misted 2 to 3 times a day just as long as the other ones seem to be fine ?
any advice or opinions would be appreiceated. am new to te whole cloning game.:bigjoint:

I am no expert, but did you take clones from a flowering female?

I try to take the humidity dome off as soon as possible. I start on day two and see if they can handle open air for a couple of hours... I noticed that when it rains, I dont even need a dome. It causes contamination... Heat can def cause a problem. Is your room hot or using a seed heat mat?

I had a horrible time cloning last year. I was using a clone machine and chiller. I ended up using root riot cubes and a clear tupperware container. Easier to clean, dishwasher safe compared to normal domes. Cheaper was better in my case. Hell, rockwool works fine as long as you can poke the cutting in there. I have OG crosses with tiny stems, root riot works better because they dont bend trying to put them in.

4 months into flower?
Yeah I was wondering the same....

Here we go:

1. Try to never take cuts from flowering plants unless its your only option. They can take forever to get their shit together if you do.

1.a Read 1. again. I have done this and it takes so long for them to come around and not look retarded that you are better off starting a seed. ( I actually got a plushbery clone from a guy in a trade that must have cut it during week 3 or 4 of flower. It had trichomes all over and even though I vegged it for 2 months and took cuts, it never went back to normal. Even the cuts/clones were stupid looking until I decided to pitch them all. Mother and all.) You will see single petal leaves, doubles and triples a lot of the time. Not the usual 5-9 like you would see on a normal plant.

2. How were your plants in flower for 4 months without being finished?

3. The simplest cloning method I an suggest is using rapid rooters in a humidity dome misted daily and rapid rooters kept damp and not too moist. Using a sprayer adjusted to stream works well. Constant light and in a couple weeks you should have roots. I almost always have 100% success this way. another advantage is you can check the progress by pulling out the rapid rooter to look for roots. Putting them straight into soil, you have no way of really checking them other than pulling out the cutting. Which can work because if you see little white bumps on the cutting, that is where roots are going to be.

4. Sounds like you have mold. You could spray with a peroxide dilution but I would pitch them and start anew. If they look like that after 72 hours my educated guess is they are not going to root.

I could go on with other suggestions but they are posted everywhere. Learning how to clone sucessfully is imperative IMO. Especially if you are not in a friendly state.

yeah i did a plant roughly flowering for over a month with small buds but i wanted to experiment were i heard you can re-veg and yeah i think it to hot in my grow box because i let them breathe by leaving domes off for day while i went to work and my leaves seemed crisp when i checked them tonight. so i got the dome misted back on and i removed them from my grow box for now

You can reveg,I am almost done with 12 plants in reveg...first round I collected the best of the tops...dry weight was 10oz.
What happens is the flower section down below will die off, than the tops start growing again,I did a light dep to kick them back into flower.
After 20 days of black out,I said too much work here...so no more cover and the plants stayed in bloom anyway.
Harvest is starting tomorrow, but just on the tops of good size, while the lowers catch up.
