What happened to MTG Seeds?

About five years ago I bought and grew some of their Godfather strain, which was a cross between LA Confidential and Granddaddy Purple. I wanted to get some more and visited their booth at an expo in San Francisco but the reps said they had stopped producing Godfather seeds, but they did have Godfather Purple, which was Godfather X Medo Purps. So anyway, I got some Godfather Purps seeds, grew a crop and let some of the females get pollinated so I'd have more seeds. I have three of them growing now, two females and a male I'm planning to use for further breeding.

But back to MTG, every time I go to Single Seed Center, all their MTG seeds are sold out, and it has been that way for more than a year, I believe, and other seed sites on the net don't seem to have any MTG in stock, either. Also, it looks like they've given up on Godfather Purple, but they have a couple other Godfather strains, like Strawberry Godfather, I think.

Another thing about the "Godfather" brand, apparently there is an OG version that is totally genetically different from the Godfather I grew. Also, there is at least one other seed company selling a cross between LA Confidential and GDP, but they're not calling it Godfather.

They were at the michigan cannabis cup this year. I just bought some godfather seeds there so they still have it. They were doing a buy 2 packs get the 3rd free there. Me and my friend split the deal so I got Ting and he got something else and we split the godfather. Anyway I popped the godfathers and the ting's all 5 of my godfathers popped but only 3 out 10 of my ting's popped < I tried a different way of popping seeds on those and wish I wouldn't have. Anyway both strains are still in veg so no idea how they will turn out yet. But thought I would let you know they are still around.
