Ive been told that I look like jack black countless times.
I also went to a Zac Brown Band concert a year or so ago in Vancouver. After the show I'm standing outside the bathroom waiting for my wife and her parents. As I'm standing there I notice the herd of people stampeding past has slowed down and everyone is staring at me. Then the crowd stops, literally everyone is looking directly at me.
I cant go anywhere, huge crowd infront of me and a stairwell behind me that has been blocked off. Suddenly this young girl runs up and hugs me while screaming OMG I love you!! The next thing I know I'm. Being mobbed, cameras are being shoved In my face people are grabbing me and taking selfies left right and center.
This goes on for like 15 minutes with me standing there dumbfounded repeating "I'm not him, sure take a pic." Finally out of nowhere a couple of security guards are at my side escorting me down this blocked off stairwell telling me that I can't just go up into the crowd like that. I had to stop them and explain I'm not Zac Brown I'm just some dude who was waiting for my family.
They laughed, couldn't believe the similarities. We had to wait another 10 mins ot so then they escorted me outside where my family was waiting. I told them what happens and they explained that they came out of the bathroom to this mob of people and couldn't figure out what was happening or where I was so they went out to the car then were on their way back in to find me.
Craziest experience of my life. And for a split second felt like what it must be like for someone who's famous to get mobbed out in public. It's a scary thing and people don't give a shit about being rude or in your face just to get a picture or to touch you.
