I'm kind of confused. Most seed banks offer multiple breeders and strains. If you are purchasing seeds online you shouldn't be experiencing germination issues. If you consistently are having issues it's more likely a user error than where you got the seeds from.

I've grown out a bunch from many different companies with fantastic results and zero germination issues.

Sorry if that wasn't helpful. Good luck.

ACE Seeds. Excellent genetics. I've grown numerous strains from them and I think out of probably 50 seeds only one didn't germinate. They don't ship to the United States so I've had to purchase their stuff through a seedbank that does. I have some of their Golden Tiger in the flower tent right now. A pure sativa cross of Malawi and Thai. It was tested at close to 30% THC. I'll find out in another 3 months. It's a 10-14 week strain.

Hmmm. Thought you had pretty much had it for a while with those long flowering strains? Personally I can’t stay away. Need more tents.

I second both Ace and Serious-two very different types of banks but both very good real breeders with high standards. Serious seeds Kali Mist, Ak 47, bubblegum-all awesome, little variability within the strain, and the highest quality seeds around-100% germination rate or else you are doing something very wrong. Ace has a lot of landraces they've improved through selection, and some excellent hybrids like Kali China (which funnily enough, is an old Serious Kali Mist X a Yunnan hashplant). Honduras, Panama, all of the Kali China crosses, and many of their other strains are great. I have a pack of New Caledonia I'm dying to pop. Oldtimer Haze is the best haze around if you have the fortitude to wait for it to finish flowering. These strains take time and patience to grow and will give you an entirely difference experience from the "hype" strains everyone talks about. Ace and Serious are actual breeders, not just more of the high end pollen chuckers that have sprung up.

So did I. But what can I say. I like my sativas. Plus I have it timed just right so I'll be harvesting right around the time I'll be shutting down the indoor for the summer.

I totally agree with the Oldtimer's Haze. It's a spectacular plant. But you have to be willing to put in the 20 weeks it takes to flower. It's definitely not for an outdoor grow for many people.

Oh gosh no, actually, a lot of Ace's offerings would probably be a no go outdoors in most of the USA. Oldtimer's Haze is a good plant for people who've really got their grow dialed in and who aren't in it for production, just high end sativa goodness!

Btw guys, I always recommend those two breeders but there are some other good European options too. I really like both Tropical seeds and Delicatessen. Tropical has some outstanding African sativas and so does Delicatessen-Lilly and Queen Mother are both very popular strains in Spain for good reason. Check them out if you want to try something a little different.
