What driver do you juse for vegi light?

I want to change my mother plants light.
I have 4 fluorecent 18watt for my mothers.

I want to Switch to chinese lm561c 1 foot 60diods leds in 6000k ×4 and drive them at 10 watt each, total 40w.

I know from the bigger build that meanwell ist almost the only good way to go.
Is that the same with These smaller units or can i safe safe money
With a cheaper driver

You can for sure find a lot cheap drivers in that range, but the HLG 40 48V A/B type is just about 30 bucks, a quite nice unit and quite efficient, have dimming, usefull.
Checkout TME.eu for led driver, guess thats the cheapest source for you.
Dont think you can save a lot more then 10 bucks as long you dont recyle something.

Id try to mix your floros wit some led strips, the extra spectrum and heat is good for the younguns

I found some one eBay, realy "cheap"

Like 15€ for a 50w 24v

their plm line is cheap, 40w driver 15 bucks, even at amazon incl. prime.
But their HLG is so much cooler, efficent and versatile.
