What does this mean?

So every picture reference I see for the female hairs, or I believe they are called cylaxes, are generally white and somewhat thin.
The ones on my girl are thick, light green, and dark green on the tips. What does this mean? Also, it indicative of any particular strain?

It all depends on the plants genetics. Some are long, thin and white turning to a golden and brown during the growing process while others are green or red etc.. Don't use the color of the hairs to determine when to harvest. You will need a good magnifier (radio shack 9.95) to see the trichomes on the leaf surface. When they start to turn from a clear to a cloudy appearance that is the time to harvest. The window of optimum opportunity is small compared to the rest of the growing process. Once the trichomes start clouding the good thc is starting to turn into the not-so-good thc and will continue until there are few psycho-active substances left. Have grown the stickiest, nicest bud only to have to smoke an oz. to get off. Thats when I started to do some research and after wading through the tons of crap out there have arrived upon this blissful shore and have never had a bad harvest since.
I know that I will be dis'd by the people who give the crap advice but my ego is secure and have given you the best advice that I have. Doesn't mean there isn't any better out there or that it won't change because I, like my plants are constantly changing.
The more I know the more I know how much I don't know, that's why Google is a friend of mine.

I think he may be referencing the barb-like growth that shoots off the main stem....just in front of where the male flower forms or the pistil/hairs on a female emerge.

Those don't indicate sex. They're on all plants.

Actually, BT DT, i'm not referencing the barb-like growth at all, I do know the difference.(No offense) It is the pistils I am referring to. They are a beautiful light, lime green with dark green tips. I was just wondering if it meant any particular thing, such as was it because it's an organic grow or maybe a particular strain that was identifiable by this particular characteristic. And thank you, mr. (or mrs.?) ho-ho-ho for the reply and info. You are right in everything you said, and that is how I plan to watch for the optimal time to harvest.
