what does the legalizing of hemp mean for us outdoor growers?

Well of course I am all for states growing hemp! Its an amazing plant with endless uses. However, I do have concerns..
I used to live in Kansas for a few years where hemp grows wild EVERYWHERE!!! its in every yard, and sometimes whole fields if it.
Everyone knows there that you cant grow outside due to it. If you did your plants would be pollinated! !!
Some people even with indoor grows had problems with hemp pollen getting into their grows.

So with that said.... we all know hemp will be eventually grown again. What does that mean for us?

I would guess that means the development of a pesticide (herbicide) that will kill hemp dead.

Out in the country...I dont think that would work. You know how when ur mowing the yard and you see a lot of clover or dandelions? Well when hemp grows wild...and it will...your yard has just as many hemp plants as weeds in just your lawn. Its really hard to control or get rid of.

I grew up on a farm with a huge yard/lawn and we never had a dandelion problem if we sprayed the lawn. I'd assume that most broadleaf herbicides should do the trick.

Yeah its so hard when u totally want hemp grown and used, yet...you want seed free harvests. Guess er cant have both

either you find some miraculously way to create unfertile females, that don't produce seeds (not sure that's even possible), get used to seedy weed, stay indoors, or far from any hemp (miles and miles away). Wind can transport pollen great distances, and birds, if they get pollen on them can take it farther. So most likely, completely seed free is going to be rare.

Or create feminized hemp seeds for them to plant?

the seeds are part of the crop, usually. Super skunk is great as a hemp plant, makes huge buds of seed. resin for hash.

the growers in kans,and Nebraska that I know spray heavy to kill the hemp and they do decent but yet get a few seed.all seed making they do indoors.i bought pot from them by the truck loads in the past that was good but it had a few seed here and there in it..spray spray and keep spraying is what they do there..ky

There are organic herbicides. More expensive and less effective than chemicals but they do work. Pulling the hemp plants out by hand would be a friendly alternative too. Good luck.
