what do you use molasses for?

I have seen on here that people use molasses for growing. I saw some at home depot was wondering what its used for. Is it taste or what.
I searched molasses but nothing came up for what its used for

Molasses is used for taste along with the nutrients and some believe it helps the plant absorb nutrients better.

Molasses is loaded with carbs. Carbs ur plant uses to bulk up. Its been nearly proven to bulk up %20 in some cases.

molasses feeds micro organisms or some shit like that in the soil and that makes your soil better and with better soil= better plants

if u using da molasses in hydro be sure to boil it wot water so it becomes non sticky n it won't ruin ur tubing n you will still get all da beneficial parts of da molasses I'm on day 5 of molasses in my resevoir/goin on 3rd week flowering n couldn't be happier

i used molasses for the sugars and starches. its easy for the plant to absorb and it will make them swell up a bit. it wont burn them to my knowledge. and after you flush before harvest, gives lots of molasses. your buds will just take most of it up and you will get nice fatty nugs filled with sugars. hah kinda sorta. the leaves i notice definately fatten up with this method.

i use about 1-2 TBS of molasses and at the last week or 2, depending on hydro or soil, i use about 2-3TBS.

you can buy some "grandmas molasses" in a yellow labeled jar i think from like ace hardware maybe. although this last harvest i got this stuff from a hydro store called molasses thats in a gallon jug that i think works very well. its like $20 for the gallon
