My current mom will finish up at about a foot but her sister was the one that that got 3'. She's 65% sativa but it's all about what phenotype you choose to work with. That's why you need to be poppin as many seeds as you can.

yea with a mostly sativa strain that grows very tall then a 2' clone could get that tall. but i still thought even with a sativa plant they'd only grow about 3x when flowering

what kind do you use? and hw do you set up you bulbs to be dual spectrum? i plan on using t5's bt only to veg. i'll use a 2' 4 or 8 bulb t5 light with both 6500k and 3000k bulbs running at the same time. witch do you think would be better for veging in a 2'8''x2'8'' room? the 2' 4 bulb with a mix of (2) 6500k bulbs and (2) 3000k bulbs or the 2' 8 bulb system with a mix of (4) 6500k bulbs and (4) 3000k bulbs?

I got a New Wave 48. I alternate color temps across the fixture. Get the 8-bulb and be prepared to ventilate.

so witch 2' do you think will be good for me in the 2'8''x2'8'' veg room? i no the 2' 4bulb will keep cooler then the 8bulb but do you think the 4bulb system at 10,000 lumes will give me enuff light useing dual spectrum?

You may not have to worry about it but you can get any cheapo exhaust fan from Lowes or Home Depot to extract from the the tent.

ok thnaks. so hw much weed do you think i can get if i grow and used the 8bulb set up to veg and flower for just one or two grows to get the hang of things? and couldnt i flower my plants at 6'' to sex faster? i no i wouldnt get me anything frm it but if i jus wanted to get a mother as fast as i could then really start growing wouldn that work? could i clone from a 6'' plant b4 flowering to show sex and then grow that clone out to a mum if the plant truns out ot be female?

By the time you've cloned the plant (after it gets big enough) and put those into flowering, the original plant will most likely have shown preflowers. Just hold off on the cuts until you know what sex it is. It's usually only 6 or 7 nodes anyway so just be patient like that. You don't wanna waste time and resources cloning males anyway.... do you? Even if you put the plant straight to 12/12, it won't flower until it has matured.

You'd be better off buying your "flowering" equipment first. A 400w rig will be cheaper than the T5 and give you more weight (I still suggest you get a 600w). Also makes for good veggin. If you wanna flower with the T5 you could be looking at a QP.

i no 4 my first grow that wouldnt be the best bud bet a QP would be nice. hw many plants in the 3'11''x3'11'' DR under 400watts grown to wat size do you think it would take to get dat?

if i did do a full grow with the 2' 8bulb t5 using dual spectrum then it wood be in the 2'8''x2'8'' DR untill i got up erthing for the 3'11''x3'11'' flowering DR with the 400w hps. and then use the 2'8''x2'8'' and the t5 for veg only. so if i decided to do a full grow with DWC in the small DR and the t5 b4 i get the bigger DR what do you think would be the best way to do this? and hw many plants should i try and grow only 1-2?

in the link you gave me she never said how many plants she said was in the the 5x5 room i no jus one plants didnt ova run that size room
