sure miss the CD rates but not the home interest rates of that time. Oh, and Mcdonalds fries when they still made them in beef tallow

Forgot about those, Lol.

I remember getting 11% for 3 yrs. here. You could make some nice money if you could force yourself not to cash out.

But the 10.5% mortgage sucked. Paid off in 14 yrs., fortunately. All my buddies had similar rates.

How much nicer it would be today now that I don't need a house. Lol.

What about "National Lampoon", that was a classic. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it cover to cover. I especially like "The Fabulous Fury Freak Brothers and Fat Freddy's Cat", but my favorite beyond a doubt was "Dirty Duck"

I spent the latter part of the '70s on a destroyer in the Pacific fleet so I kinda miss the Asian hookers and barbecued monkey meat on a stick.
