Just started drooling over bud in second picture.. 3 weeks into my own cfl grow.. there lookin good, hope they look that good.. good work. Did you use the same CFL bulbs for veg as you are for flowering?

yeah i used 2700K all the way through. started off with just floros for about two weeks

by the way guys...i won't be changing the foil this grow. just dont feel like fucking with it. i have to move outta here before june and this is my only full scale grow for this place. too bad i didn't start sooner...got a nice spot for it. but anyways...i got two seeds out of one bag of some DANK ass bud. i germed them and planted them both in one 5 gal bucket on either side. i'm going to go 12/12 all the way through to ensure they will be done soon enough for move out. i'm gonna do LST and coil them around the bucket. not so sure how this will turn out but i've got the growers bug! what do you guys think? i'm gonna be able to put all my lights on that one bucket eventually too...anxious to see how that turns out. the first seedling sprouted two days ago and the second one just last night....stay tuned!
with enough cfl's, you can pretty much grow anything
just gets expensive eventually, HPS is tough to beat at higher wattages
but i've used 2700k cfl's for flowering, great results
about 1/2g per watt, that's all i need so in no hurry to expand my grow yet

i'm definitely a CFL advocate haha if i can get the $ to invest in all the necessary items for HPS i'm do it this summer. we will see...for the second grow, my concern isn't about the CFLs as much as skipping vegetative growth altogether...anybody every try this? i'm just looking for some little nuggets to smoke on. obviously can't expect a high yield. any input is appreciated
though you may start at 12/12, that doesn't mean you won't get vegetative growth
most strains are just not going to start flowering until they get to some level of maturity
unless it's a clone
so a 12/12 grow can give you a fair amount of weed
some strains will mature sooner than others, you may try to get a sativa to flower quick, but she'll take her time, 12/12 or not

awesome! didn't know they would still experience vegetative growth under 12/12...figured I would see preflowers in a couple weeks or something! Thanks so much...plus rep for sure

thanks macrael...stay tuned and we will see what happens! both seedlings are alive and happy...anyways, i usually take like 15 pictures each time i snap any at all. however, for whatever reason i can't upload too many. if i do more than 5 or 6 it wipes out all my attachments and i have to start over. it also takes a long time to upload, which probably has much more to do with my wireless router than the RIU server. Any ideas what the issue may be with the attachments? i will continue to upload four or five at a time for your viewing pleasure! but i could get more up....just did the first molasses watering yesterday. will take some pics this afternoon and get them up. later

Hey guys! Took some more today...24 hours after first molasses feed. THERE WOULD BE MORE PICTURES IF I COULD SOLVE MY UPLOAD ISSUE! please anyone with any information on this let me know...aside from that...they're lookin hella good! all comments welcome. expcept the naysayers, frankly you can fuck off! haha

For anyone who hasn't tried molasses....try it! You can't really tell by those pictures so much but they responded very well to the first feeding. The smell of the plants when I opened the door to my attic today was overwhelming. Also, the buds have definitely thickened up as well as the rest of the plant. Lower growth has sped up rapidly in the last 36 hours. Do this! It works! High Times did the study anyways...I'll trust most of what they have to say

been awhile since an update...here ya go folks. looks like one of em may be close to ready. i'ma cut nutrients from here on out on that one and continue with molasses only. these pictures were taken three days ago mind you all...i've trimmed them up a decent amount since and the flowers have responded well. some of the buds seem to have swelled a little bit...as always, let me know whatcha think!
