What do you do with harvest

The question I have what do you do for long term storage?
Then
Do you share with other growers? I have dosed all my friends.
The typical response would be to sell but in my years I have learned that focusing on $$ takes away from the enjoyment of the activity.

I have a trim table that has upped my production of kief. My trimming will go into hash production along with the popcorn buds.

Long term gets vacuum packed and into the freezer..
I grow more than my friends and family can handle..

you dont have to focus on money you can just sell your surplus weed thats not focusing on money.

It is not that easy.
Do I count my time on the plant.
Do I count the expense? Example spent 150$ on ladybugs once a week a container no bug damage period.
With a little honest totaling it would exceed the market rate here.

I find I get more joy from making some people happy than making sure my wallet is thick.

dry it or frezze it
share if you want sell if you want.you can get over market price if you find some suckers.

ok make hash then or you can compost that extra weed since you grow so much and not using nearly enough to finish it all. or burn it to ash and use it as fertilizer for your next batch of cannabis in small amounts

endless possibilities but i’d still keep my ears open to people who could use some weed

you dont have to make profit seeing you are not money focused just let people enjoy your weed at market price.

Would like to hear some of the endless possibilities.

I am money focused if you ask me to weld aluminum we start at 100$ or 750 plus expenses for the day at the track. But my original point was I don't want to treat the activity in the same manner, I enjoy the aspect of it and much like the way I cook to enjoy not to be cost aware. I blow people away with some of the food I serve. I coach hockey and bring a homemade snack to the event for the team.

Other point it is not legal in this area for me to sell.

The biggest point is over the 50 years of burning I have dealt with many dealers and never wanted to be included in that group.

Have a hash program going.

I have a short list of friends several for 50 years but a short list.

Every one who has tested this were impressed including my dealer.....

I do the same shit! I hand out prerolls like they're hash coins on trailer park boys. Slip a spliff in with the tip. Making America green again

What I was doing was trading my extras for newer better grow equipment from people on offer up and Craigslist , they try one grow , grow some hay and give up and sell the stuff I trade then weed and they call for more lol I charge under market value due to being almost full solar power . I grow mostly organic now , have my own worm farm, compost piles , use dr earth and Gia green now only , I keep it simple these days.

Update
Traded a bunch gave a bunch away. Have some designated packages for some people that I have not seen yet.

Went to a growers conference and they tested it came back 18% THC so all parties are very happy at this point.

Spend a day at the local hospital meet some poor old folk who obviously need weed but can't afford it. Share with them. Ask the old lady's what recipes you want them to put their medicine in. KEEP THOSE. The lesson you will learn talking to people who have had a long hard life, and the appreciation you will be shown for simply being decent to them sound more like the kind of thing that would motivate a guy like you

Smoke more weed. Burn joints.
Give it away.
Barter with it.
If weed is illegal where you live I'd shy away from selling it, sounds like you got good things going otherwise, don't need to add that complication.

Been smoking a bunch still very tasty.
Hospitals around here that wouldn't work security is nuts and with the covid protocols in place not my cup of tea.

Setup a few trades. My Bell jars are full.

Waiting for some grow bags to start my indoor grow.

Been adding supplements to my outdoor grow area. I plan to bury a few pounds of bait fish later today.

Bring it out into the open. Instead of tipping people money tip grams. Cat groomer, baristas, auto wash folks, etc. all take grams.
