Possibly but I believe is too be more along the lines of some kid fantasizing about becoming a major pot producer and all the money he could earn and enjoying the fantasy of being rich beyond the dreams of avarice. The whole teen money for nothing and chicks for free fantasy.
When someone says things like, do you want me to be honest with you, can I be honest with you, come on now, you can be honest with me, I want you to be honest with me ... etc. often times that is an unintentional sign from the person's subconscious mind that they themselves are not honest. If they say, can I be honest with you, do you want me to be honest with you, something many salespeople make the TERRIBLE mistake of saying, that is because they know they lie through their teeth and while they do not realize they are disclosing that fact they preface what they are about to say with a statement like that attempting to establish that it will indeed be truthful, when normally it will not be. When asking for the truth, saying come on now, be honest with me, you can be honest with me, I really need your honest opinion, etc. that will at times come from them not being honest and since that is the norm for them they do not expect honesty from others and feel they need to ask for it to receive it and sometimes practically beg for it.
Sometimes though it can just be a sign of insecurity. That is often seen in relationships where some insecure lunachik uses those sort of phrases with her guy fairly often, but they can also come from a lying cheating heartbreaker babe too, so it is difficult to determine which is the true reason for them being used.
They are red flags waving about the distinct possibility of dishonesty of some sort on some level for some reason being involved.
