What do the numbers mean?

Just bought a fissioning qb. It says 3500k, 660nm and 730nm. Does that mean that it has 3 different diodes. Full spectrum with 3500k color temp diodes and 660nm red diodes and 730nm far red diodes? Trying to figure this out!

Do you have the Wave 240R model? On the Amazon description the diodes used are listed as Samsung LM301H(whites), Osram 660nm(deep red), and Osram 730nm(far red). So yes these boards have 3 different types of diodes, although I am not certain of the quantity of each used.

I know @Airwalker16 has experience with these boards, I think he might just have an earlier iteration.

Then the above diode description should apply to your light as well, provided that you bought the R model.

The 3500k is a black body temp representation. The k rating is for temp. in degrees Kelvin. Think blacksmith terms-red hot, white-hot.
The nm ratings are the actual wavelength of the source.
The 3500k is a white led with a combined output that mimics a 3500k source.
The mono's output their specific wavelength.

In reality all you need is 3500k that has enough red and far red already

Suppose to be here tonight. Thanks for the info. That extra red should be good for where I'm at. Almost 2nd week of flip.
