What did you yield last with just CFL

Well title says it. What did u harvest last in weight with just CFLS, what strain was it, how big or small of a growtent or room? Lst? Expain(: I got 21K lumens cfl in a 3x3x6.5 growtent last grow turned out male. Go(;

In y'all's opinion should I get a 400watt or 600watt hps for my 3x3x6.5 grow tent? Also it is a passive air intake tent/: 3 rectangle mesh holes t bottom. So can't intake air have to pull air out so air gets pulled in

10 grams.... from two plants. White widow bagseed. In a garbage can. No LST. Had 98 watts going. I'd like to think the crappy soil from my backyard was mostly to blame but certainly the weak lighting and lack of experience didn't help.

Haha ;) well I'll be getting a 400 or 600watt hps either flowering time or begging of next grow ;) just try a decide what size to get now :/ running into a couple issues lol

Either one will be an improvement. Guessing heat is the only reason you're hesitant about the 600?

Well I have a 3x3x6.5 grow tent. In my spare bedroom.. I have an AC window unit next to it. Temps now are 79 without the AC on. But I'm afraid about the passive air outtake and intake.. It doesn't have a spot where u can use an inline fan at the bottom to push air in.. Just 3 rectangle mesh holes.. 3 6" holes up top well 1 up top and 2 on each side near top. Right now I have air pulling out which is pulling air into the tent fresh air

If anything goes wrong with temps I plus always just use duxting and duct the cold air from AC into tent.. BUT I've hear of them freezing up in winters.. And winter is a comin..

Plus when I get a carbon filter.. Will it still be okay since it's a passive air intake/outtake? Will the 3 bottle mesh holes not leak out the smell?

Only time I ever tried CFLs was the first two grows about 15 years ago or so. Used HID, HPS and CMH up until the beginning of this year when I switched to LED. No regrets. Got an A51 XGS 190 and RW150. Pulled over a pound last cycle with those two lamps(345W total) and building a DIY CREE CXA 3070 fixture currently. But it is expensive upfront but with the right gear worth it. Though if you go with and HPS for that space I would use a 600W. Fuck a 400W in that space you would be much more pleased with the 600W as long as you have your ventilation setup properly.

If you have an adequate fan like an inline centrifugal no the smell will not creep out. Smell is particles in the air. The particles can't reach the receptors for you to smell if the negative pressure(vacuum) of the room is good. Also, make sure you vent the exhaust outside of the area/room the tent is located like into the attic or something.
