what did i do and why did i get crumble.

so my friend grew some hydo and gave me the hq sugar leaf, i made a quarter pound into like 3.5 grams of gold sap,

i took this sap and winterized half of it into some shatter, but i took the other half and threw it on parchment then put it in a metal double boiler on my gas stove, it came out bright yellow crumble, and the second extraction the same way yielded amber honey comb, ive tried many times since this to reproduce these results but i havent been able to, it just comes out as this sap or shatter. what the f*** did i do to get crumble.???
am i purging too hot, or not hot enough or what

Every time I get crumble it's from getting my product too hot. I'm not saying you did.

Also could always be the strain
