It is safe.

Spinosad fall in the safest category for pesticides. It is safe to most beneficial insects.

I researched it a lot before using.

Drinking something is not the same as smoking, the effects of smoking spinosad are not known, which is why it is banned. The idea is to prevent class action lawsuits in the future should negative effects of smoking combusted spinosad be discovered and also because they were finding samples with spinosad levels way higher than the threshold.


Do you have any examples where they have banned one product with spinosad as its active ingredient but allowed a different product with spinosad as the active ingredient?
I use it but never in flower.

I grew 7 girls to flower this past year and only 1 had a real pungent smell, but you could smell it as soon as you pulled up to the front of the house. So given the depth of my yard I would estimate the stink zone at 30 to 40 feet in all directions.
