I have just over 1/4 oz of bud. if possible what can i do with it, and be able to enjoy the rewards.

if you have a sheet of glass, get some butane and a honey comb and fill it with the 1/4 (and depending on comb you might need more) And make some oil 
get a mr coffee and a beaker and bam you got some personal oil.
for hash its better to have fresh trim.

You know, I think you'd like this method the best... Lightly grind it up, get a super fine screen, collect all of the kief from your bud. Put the kief in butter, keep the weed and still smoke it. It just won't be as good (obviously), but STILL will get you high! And you now have a 1/4oz of smokable bud, AND good butter.
