what are your guys rookie mistakes

Growing outdoors: Biggest mistake was under estimating the size; height and diameter. I can barely get to my plants to water them. Not using an auto watering system. Not being ready for budworms, here in Nor Cal. Ill trade all the thrips, gnats, and mites for budworms, they are ridiculous! Should have found certain strains for my situation. I had access to free clones. I did buy some beans but could have done more research; to fit my needs. Underwatered at the beginning of veg, fixed that quickly, not much of an issue. Haven't harvested yet, I perceive more lessons to be learned. First year and boy have I learned a lot. Hopefully all lessons learned this year will make next year easier and not near as stressful.

my very first grow exceeded my expectations, I grew 18 grams of decent bud,... indoors with sunshine, plain soil & tap water, and no nutes.....best grow ever for money invested, it's been downhill ever since

Not enough light, cutting, over watering as a seedling, not starting the grow with a timer. Not expecting such a large plant, that is always a underestimate i bet. They get big and when you switch if you dont lst you have 1 week to do what should have been 2 weeks of lst over time lol.

yeah over thinking and doing something stupid like adding nutes or even just watering a plant when you notice something odd without just posting it to the forums and getting a quick answer.

This grow: running 18/6 instead of 24/0. I'm only a month in, so I've still got plenty of time left to screw it up.

1)Patience 2) Getting teaspoon and tablespoon mixed up (use milliliters now) 3) not shaking the FF nutes before using, got some thick ass nutes now
