What are the possible outdoor windows for flowering?

They say Jul - Sept? Right now there's only 10 hours of dark outdoors but the plants are still budding.

In the summer I think there's only 10 hours of dark as well so how come they don't start budding? (from 5am to 7pm)

But in my noob days I've planted seeds in winter and had them finish flowering by end of spring.

Any guides / info about outdoor flowering?

Your plants are going to start to flower with the decease in daylight. Before the 21st of June the days become longer and your plants grow rapidly with no flowering. After the 21st of June as the days shorten the plant senses the change in daylight and start their flowering process. Plants started outside after the 21st of June will grow to a point that they are mature enough to flower and go straight to flower. Hope this helps.

you have to read. but to start you off. if you already have plants outside right now by mid october they will be done. the days dont get shorter till after the summer solstice. and thats around the end of june i think it was the 21st this year. you have to read up on nutes and what to use. you might want to read about security or securing your plants. and remember the three L's no smell no tell no sell

Legal btw.

So can you start flowering in Aug / Sept / Oct/ Nov / Dec / Jan / Feb / Mar / and end up with good bud?

other question is, if I have them on 18/6 or 20/4 indoors, and put them outside in the summer, will they flower since there's only like 15 hours of sunlight?

Actually there's 14 hours of sunlight right now so I don't really understand the difference...

Real simple, days get shorter, outdoor plants sense it and begin to flower. Depending on the strain they'll finish from late august to early October ( at least here in sunny California).

You say that.. but I seem to be getting the same hours of daylight in Summer and Fall...

So if you have your plants on 18/6 or 20/4 you can flower them during any month when you put them outside?

Right now plants are flowering, sun comes out at 5-6 am.. and it's dark by 7-8pm.

I can't remember how early the sun comes out in the summer but I'm thinking it gets dark around 7-8pm as well, although there are months when it's completely dark by 5pm I can't remember which.

I'd really like the following question answered by anyone who can, Thanks!

The blue line represents the amount of light I get where I live.

didn't realize a change in +/- 1 or 2 hours of light would have that much significance.
Sorry I'm just used to indoor 18/6 and switch to 12/12... for some reason it made me forget that outdoors the change in hours of daylight diminishes gradually.

If I kept them indoors on 20/4 and moved them outside in march, would they start to flower?
or no because the hours of light are increasing?

in cali. Wow.. is it that hard to understand what i'm askin...

I have the plants in 20/4. Could I trick them into bloom during march or in the summer by reducing to 18/6 and then putting them outdoors? or would they show preflower or bloom and then revert to veg?

Once they get over the shock of the indoor/outdoor transfer, one would assume that they would sense that the days are getting LONGER, since they have been in a stalled photo period, and continue to veg. until June 22. Good luck & good grow.......BB

No...that would be very unlikely to work. Although some plants like to flower when you least expect it...
