What are the chances my net is causing this?

I see this on leaves on a few different plants but there are zero pests in my room aside from an occasional fungus gnat. Am I just not being gentle enough shuffling around my string net?

Not related to your physically damaged leaves , what do you spray on your plants ? You have shiny leaves ?

Fans get some damage just in general, including what im seeing with yours. What you want to watch for are symptoms spreading to the surrounding leaves. If its just local then you're okay. If you start seeing it spread to other parts of the plant, go to the "plant problem diagnosis" page on the GrowWeedEasy.com site.

The same goes for the shriveled leaves. I tend to see that with certain strains, especially White Widow, which I grow often next to a similar strain. I grow via RDWC, so all the plants are getting the same tasty soup, but the White Widow will end up with a few shriveled (especially in heavily shaded spots), but the other strain will look perfectly normal.

What you'll want to look at is the new growth to see if there are any nutrient/pH issues, or around fans showing some issues, for bug, mold, mildew, or other physical damage being caused by external issues.

I would go ahead and stop using pesticides lol. Fungus gnats are easy to get rid of with sticky traps and letting your soil dry out completely between waterings. Leaves closest to the fans will burn from the fans blowing on them and damage the leaves.

But... its a fungicide too? Albeit not a very good one. Im not worried about the gnats, I've only seen one or 2 since I won my battle against them 5-6 weeks ago.

Yeah, it’s not healthy to smoke at all. Even though you’re in veg, that stuff can still get on top the buds being toxic to inhale. I hate seeing people using shit like that on the stuff they smoke or sell to people.

Noted. No one had brought that to my attention before. Gonna have to chew some asses up at the grow store.

It’s cool for tomatoes. Ya know, since you wash them off before you eat them. But you don’t do the same with weed. If you have pests, put more fans in. Especially if you have powder mildew

Yeah, it looks like physical damage to me...and likely caused by the string net. Just keep an eye on that one leaf and if it's fine after a week, then you're good.
