The first grow I ever tried was with White Widow and Pure Power Plant from Nirvana. The PPP was the easiest and most forgiving of the two. I found that the white widow was just a little more picky when it came to nutriants than the PPP. The power plant would take anything I threw at it and keep on keeping on, whereas the white widow would be more succesible to 'lockout' from over fertilizing. Not a big deal, but twice I had to flush the White Widow to cure that particular problem. I had 6 ppp and 5 white widow, indoors under 400 watt lamps and generated almost 4 lbs of finished buds when done. I also found the PPP to be a smother smoke than the white widow, with a comparible 'high'.
I also 're-veged' the PPP and regrew it for my outdoor grow, which worked out real well. Of the White widow I reveged, only 2 out of 4 plants servived the transition and grew to fruitation. ( I took clones from the reveged plants that seemed to be the hardyist for my next grow.)

If growing indoors do not try to grow a sativa dominant strain for your first grow as
1: they take longer to mature, sometimes up to 9 months or longer
2: they also grow taller, which can be a problem on an indoor grow.

I am currently growing White widow, Pure Power, C99, and a thai haze+kush hybrid. All indoor, 400 watt lamps in soil.
Good luck with your grow.
