what are other uses of 400watt hps

i need some excuses for buying 400watt hps

Most HID lights like HPS are used mainly for growing. The lower watt lights are used sometimes as security lights for apt./homes. A grow light is different. Hard to come up with something else to justify the purchase.

But...you could grow some other things like herbs/veggies. If anyone asks...the HPS is used for that. Thats what I did.

I have flowers I started with the HPS and Im about to start my red/orange/yellow peppers.
