yeah i think it looks like heat stress. P.S. you might wanna add some perlite when you transplant to help get more oxygen to the roots.

i dont think heat stress, one time i threw a seed in some coco and put it way in the corner of the room with NO direct light at all and it did this. it was a hashplant haze freebie from the tude. it never grew outta the funk. it kept growing a tad but it stayed really small and looked just like that.

Agreed on all accounts. Def get more perlitein the soil when you transplant, should be ok for now. Try moving the lights a little further away, get some more airflow in there, some fresh intake air for sure! And maybe try to up your humidity just a little.

Definitely heat stress. What's your light source, how close is it?

Could be a bit of nutrient burn as well. Perlite is a must for seedlings. I start my seeds in nothing but perlite, I transplant into soil only after they suck all the nutrients out of their seed leaves.

lights are 4 inches away they are 2 26w cfl 6500k. the temps are around 78-88 depending on the time of day..humidity 51%. It is in a pc grow case...This is nuts.
