What are Coconut Charcoal filters and are they better than Activated Carbon filters?

Am about to buy a new carbon filter and came across a Coconut Charcoal extraction filter that claimed to be more effective and longer lasting than normal RC412 Activated carbon filter,
Does anyone know if they are better or if i should stick to normal carbon filters?

I’m going to venture a guess that the coconut charcoal is also activated.

Activated carbon, also called activated charcoal, is a form of carbon commonly used to filter contaminants from water and air, among many other uses. It is processed (activated) to have small, low-volume pores that increase the surface area available for adsorption (which is not the same as absorption) or chemical reactions.”

Doubt there’s not much charcoal for filtration that’s not activated.
