After checking them today it looks like the flush did them good. Next water I'll give them some food.

Kush you gave a lot of info there and I really appreciate it but some of it was too much for noobie brain

One question, the n-p-k ratio of the canna nutes are really low compared to what you suggested. Why such a big difference?

Peace

I'll post a couple of pics in a few days.

sorry, I love to go overboard explaining:bigjoint:

I was broke this year so I had ~$20 for soil, pots, and fert, with someone else doing the shopping. Sadly.

In simple terms n-p-k ratio is literally about the actual ratio of nitrogen to phosphorus to potash.
The numbers represent the amount of food in proportion to non plant food fillers, and a low number (under 20, but i prefer 15 and under nutes) works well with frequent feedings. I prefer to do most my hovering around 7 because the plants are happy. And if you hover at 1's-5's and stay organic, you will never cause heavy burn.

N leeches quickly as it is a mobile element even while in the medium, and is why hydro requires heavy replenishing. Coco requires a little more than soil, but ~1/2 as much as hydro.

P & K are much less mobile while in the medium. They tend to build up.

Yours should be fine but do not need the p&k nutes (b) as often if you intend on vegging for an extended period of time. I dont know the instructions, but if it says use both everytime, for a 2-3 month veg you could have minor problems late in flower, though the occurrence is unlikely because how minor the numbers are.

5 Tips for a better healthier higher quality plant.

1. If you add a myco inoculant without trichoderma, expect happy, EFFICIENT plants Then afterwards you can add small amounts of trichoderma for even happier plants. But no high P fert (guanos need to be cooked in compost for a few months and beused sparingly) or any chem fert. https://www.rollitup.org/t/mycorrhiza-101.262494/

2. Use teas. Both with every feed, and foliar feeding once every other week. Great for plants and the beneficial microorganisms.

3. Again, if you hover at n-p-k's in the 1's-5's and stay organic, you will never cause heavy burn guaranteed. And it'll taste better. It's usually safe up to ~12's to accidentally overdose or misfeed.

4. Use as good quality materials as possible. If you cut corners, it WILL show. And keep a fan the APPROPRIATE size for the plants, always on. That may mean buying 2 fans, a mini oscillating fan, and a regular oscillating fan.

5. The more light intensity the better. You can increase intensity and quality with cfl's through distance and then wattage, the Sun is location dependant and you want all day direct unobstructed sunlight if possible, and HID grow's normally improve through wattage and technique.
