What?!? All females?

I germinated 9 bag seeds and crossed my fingers that 3 or 4 of them would be female. The plants have been doing really well and I moved them to the flower room 10 days ago. When I checked on them today not only did I see the familiar hairs but they were all developing bud sites all over and there were no pollen sacks to be found. Now I realize that I still have to be careful because it would not be unusual for one or more of them to turn hermaphrodite. Anyways this is only my third time growing and I am by no means an expert but this 0/9 male/female ratio does not seem normal to me. I have always been told that when you are dealing with seeds (especially bag seeds) plan for less than half of them to be female and yet not one of the bag seeds I planted turned out to be male. How normal is it that 100% comes out female?

youd be one very lucky man to have all 9 seeds turning female, but unfortunately this is more than likely not the case. plants have a way of knowing how many males are needed and how many females are needed in order to create offspring (seeds) and continue living. Male plants also develop bud sites. i recently threw a plant out that i thought was a female because of the bud sites. then one day i started noticing pollen sacks where the first pistils normally appear. but keep your fingers crossed and you might beat the odds ;)

You got seeds from a garden that had a genotypical female hermy on you creating feminized seeds. thats my guess at least...unless your bagweed is mexi or something. Were the buds decent looking? If so its prolly a hermying
