Wet or dry trim?

I trim off all the big fans and the easy to get to sugar leaves wet. Anything i have to dig for, i'll leave and dry trim before i jar.

Trim a few of the lager fans as I'm chopping into hanging branches. Then dry trim once dry. Any trimmings then go straight into the concentrates jar.
I only rough trim, not sure why people have sugar leaf hate.
Scape off oil on the scissors with a razor blade and smoke or dip the scissors in alcohol,you can then use this if you want in any hash oil concentrate you may make.

This! I am super lazy and it is the least work... Especially if you are making some concentrates or edibles with the larfy/non primo buds.

Dry trim here + some fan leaves stay on until dried. The fan leaves form a 'sheath' around the drying buds to protect from dust, etc. It takes a lil longer but I feel like its a more 'even' less harsh dry. I also remember hearing somewhere that when you wet trim you 'agitate' the chlorophyll which ends up on your buds but I don't know how true that is? gotta take everything you hear online with a grain of salt

I leave the buds on big stems, then separate & dry trim before jarring.

I have theories:
- Because they read or heard it was cool to hate the sugar leaves, and they want to be cool.
- They don't remember the days of getting whatever weed you could get because it wasn't legal anywhere, and don't know that the average dispensary bud (at least in my experience) is better than anything that was available back then -- and it still did the job. Or conversely, they DO remember and don't want to go back to those days!!
- They prefer the taste of as much bud only as possible.

for me it's mostly bag appeal. the stuff i keep for myself has sugar leaves all over it, the stuff i sell doesn't, because people don't like it. if they didn't care, i wouldn't bother, but they do.

It all comes down to personal preference and timing.
If you don't mind smoking sugar leaves, then only remove the fan leaves at harvest time and your all set.
If not, you should remove the sugar leaves at harvest time whenever you are in a location where humidity is high and the temps are low and also if you don't have too much to harvest at the same time.
Ideally, the best quality and best looking buds will be obtained by doing a dry trim. I will slow down the drying time thus preserving most of the terpenes!

I do half and half wet trim down the sides dry hang and then manicure once is dried then thrown in jars once I find the aroma most appealing after burping 2-3 weeks I throw in a boveda 62% humidity pack and leave it sealed what do you do @C-theGrower ?

Wats good fellas.. Wat I find best for me. Is a dry trim. I take all the bigger fan leafs off. Snap the whole plant off. Hang it in a nice dark place with a humidity at 65% for about 7 to 10 days or when I hear that nice snap..
Once I hear that snap I do a nice manicure trimming job. Put em in a jar. (Air tight) And burp em at least once a day for about a week.. shout out @Dear ol" Thankful Grower!

Chop the plant at the base before the lights come on, hang and slow dry in climate controlled room for 10-14 days, carefully dry trim by hand over a trim bin and then jar. This method improved my quality exponentially.
