Wet fog/drizzle all night. Overcast and warm today. Perfect weather for mold?

Or does mold prefer the cold?

I plan to spray for mold tonight just in case. I have actinovate and serenade on hand. Anyone have any opinion on which one is most effective?

I have to say I prefer the actinovate because it doesn't smell, where the serenade smells like sweaty jock straps but I have no idea which one works better.

Thanks.

you're better off cold and wet than warm and wet. Ive seen plants take weeks of cold rain and come out unscathed, but only because it stayed cool. I believe botrytis thrives at 55-70 when the humidity is high. if it got wet, then warm and overcast like you said, bummer. just keep a close eye - and I would spray in the morning rather than evening. depending on how far along they were, I might not spray at all. I haven't used actinovate but I have used serenade unsuccessfully for pm and there's no way I would spray that rank shit on my plants late into flower. good luck!

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind. Hopefully they get a chance to dry out today. Supposed to have sun the rest of the week.

I was under the impression that mold prefers cooler temperatures, but I've heard it both ways.

This wet, stormy weather is the worst thing for the plants at this stage in the game.

rain sucks. Its been raining for the past 3 days here in Denver, which it never does. Ive got my girls in a lean too so they aren't getting pounded with rain, but they totally want more sunshine!

Damp weather spells trouble regardless of temps for most strains but then there are those special ladies that have resistance . I think the shitty weather this time of year is going to wipe out the majority of the outdoor growers here in Michigan , possibly greenhouse growers as well if they are not on top of prevention ....My vegetable garden is a fucking spore factory now lol ..PotSnob

Yeah, prevention is the key to growing healthy plants. Too bad most growers are lazy, including myself somedays.

Less fog last night/today but still overcast. Hopefully the sun will come out soon. All of my ladies have been sprayed down with actinovate just in case.
