I ventured out to a new "pot shop" (not new. Just new to me). Super sketch neighborhood. In the end I'm not so impressed by the strains I thought would be "my" winners (agent Orange and/or jillybean) but sadly they're still not the happy, clear headed, mood enhancing, anti depressant weed I been waiting for all these years.

Idk if they were just grown poorly or what.

I went in...picked up some agent Orange and jillybean of course. Bought a kiva bar, picked up samples (just a gram each) of sour diesel and Tahoe og kush.

Ive tried everything but the Tahoe og and the edibles. My buds > this dispensaries best buds.

Im starting to think the coveted "club weed" is b.s. buds weren't cured properly (very little smell to any strain) the sativa strains were let go too long before the chop (ie weren't as clear headed as they should be)

All in all the customer service was nice but they need new growers to buy from! Shake for 30an ounce is a nice deal. Maybe next time ill pick some up and make butter or something :)

hey. im stoned.

i grew jilly bean and didn't like it and wasn't impressed. grew TGA's space bomb and cheese quake and am pretty much done with this breeder...the cheese quake was probably B- and it was the best strain i've tried of theirs.

it'd be cool to be able to go into a dispensary and try something out instead of spending months growing a strain out. good luck on your quest to find some best buds! 8-)

:peace:

Clubs, generally speaking, don't care about quality or patients. TGA strains alway herm out on me, and after my last run with Jilly bean I'm done with them too. I think a lot of times when ppl ask for a clear head high they mean not too strong or trippy. Green Crack is one of my brother in law's favorite for a nice clear light high currently. If you want citrus flavor look at DNA tangie, but she will have more body effect.

The last time I bought from a dispensary, I realized that the quality of weed really isn't any better than what the trolliruppers are doing for themselves. I think I went in with high expectations and bought the best recommended. I wasn't disappointed, it was fire, but not any better than what I'm used to. I actually think except for taste/flavor what I am used to is a slightly better high. Anyway, not complaining. Just saying. Good job trolliruppers.

Dispensaries are supplied by cashcroppers. Cashcroppers are going to cut corners to get their product out faster.
Of course what you grow yourself will be better.
As far as TGA goes, yeah, there are only certain strains and certain phenos from certain strains that are worth the grow space.

If you are looking for quality cannabis going to a club in the ghetto probably isn't the brightest idea.

There are a few collectives I have been to that actually have purchasers who have been around marijuana for over 20 years and know almost everything that they can know without owning a laboratory.

The big problem with collectives having shitty weed is they have shitty connections, you have to attract the right people to your club and a lot of places aren't willing to pay the price for dank. Then you have the walmart style clubs who buy in bulk of the dank but pay the farmers a much lower price. Sometimes the farmer thinks it is a win win as they get rid of everything but lose a little bit of money. To me it is a stupid move to push product at a lower rate, I would rather smoke it all to my dome than have my work undervalued.

I've been to dispensaries with a wide variety of quality bud. Granted their top shelf was 350 an ounce but at this other club even top shelf wasn't top shelf. It was somewhere in the B+ range.

For instance. Every review I've read on agent Orange boasts the strong Orange peel smell. I got no Orange smell at all. Sorry excuse for curing in my opinion

If I want to go to a dispensary, I go to the ones that grow onsite (I only know of a couple in this state) The dispensaries I've been to that source their product from someone else, always end up having poorly trimmed and cured buds.

As for TGA, the cut of Jillybean I tried was a clear, energetic high but pretty short lived, I thought it was rather weak. Great smell, taste and bag appeal though.

Querkle, again great bag appeal and smell but weak potency.

Agent Orange made into BHO was the best tasting orange strain I've ever tried.
