This is funny, I went to 12?12 lighting and my plant instead of budding is actually growing very rapidly now. It has grown 12 inches in just the past week and is now almost 3 foot tall. When I first did the change over about a week and a half ago it was 20 inches tall. What is the prob. I had it at 18/6 to grow and now at 12/ 12 to flower but no bud form or banana lookin things either. Need some info please about how to get this thing to flower. People tell me i should already be able to tell. Thanks Yall.

There is no problem. They stretch when they start flowering to make room for buds to grow in. They will slow down and peak around 3 weeks or so after the switch.

My bottom leaves are dying off at the very bottom off the plant. is that normal that the oldest leaves on the plant die out??? Thanks for the info and the compliment on the plant. This is my first grow and only one plant just to see if i could do it right first. lol . But I dont even know if it is female yet, I sure hope it is....

It's semi-normal for the oldest leaves to die first when the plant is having to pull microelements and nutrients to support the budding growth. If you are losing leaves at a fast rate it could indicate something serious, but losing a fan leaf or two a week during flower is probably not anything to freak over.. certainly don't overreact and do more harm by trying to fix it quick.

And turn the halogen off. Those make nothing but heat. No usable light.

Totally agree with that statement.

Ok, but i must ask about the halogen... The plant wasnt standing up as straight until i put the halogen in there. The leaves were all in the down position... of corse i am using a HID lamp which might not be the best application, I really dont know. Its a big ass light that factorys use at the top of their buildings to light up their 6 story ware house and work areas. Its alot of watts. lol I just dont know if the plant likes it. its a 800 dollar unit. hell, anything should like that... lol

im kinda a relaxed dude, I dont over react to much... lol , but I didnt know whether to flush the plant roots, that is something i havent done the whole life of the plant.... Im just watching her grow like crazy and laughing cause she outgrew my grow box and had to put her in my bedroom for more room. my room stays at 72 ' at all times

OK... Instead of flushing the soil, I just transplanted it into a 5 gallon pot... Boy was that a job... The plant freaked out at first but went straight back to normal within 1 hour.... Whewww... Lookin Good... Thanks for the info...
