ive been having to haul water this year & have been considering digging a well this next year.
My main concern and reason I'm making a thread is the well water out here is filled with either sulphur or salt from what I've been told. My neighbor said he had a well dug to water his lawn & it was so high in sulphur that it literally killed his lawn. I've seen other neighbors who water there's with it just fine though.
So I'm assuming I will have to filter it through RO or something along those lines, which isn't cheap. With as much water as I use it sure would be nice to have a well.. I'm just afraid filtering will be a huge hassle & expensive (especially since I use generators for electricity)
Do you all think it would be worth it? Or just stick with hauling? I use on average 2,000-4,000 gallons/week (was 2,000-4,000 every 3 days when it was hot out) so hauling gets old and very expensive.
Thanks in advance!
