Well it happened!! Had to tear down my grow! Early harvest questions!

Not sure if it's a sign or what, but I had to shut my homegrow down. Why you ask? Well I started noticing my rug in the room my tent was in had a wet spot. Thought nothing of it but then after a few days it kept spreading and wouldnt go away! So through common sense I believe there is a small leak under my floor. I also live in a condo building and although I am a patient, its a no-no. So, i spent all day tearing down my 5x5 tent and haresting my 4 HUGE females. There must be well over a pound once dried.. Such a shame.

Now these ladies were harvested on day 50 of flower.. OG Kush, Pinaepple Skunk, Mazar Kush and Blue Dream. Most of them could of gone another 2 weeks, and the Mazar even longer.

What will be the outcome once dried and cured? I have a shit ton of trim and popcorn buds I threw in a trash bag to hopefully make hash/BHO or butter. Or should I just call everything a loss? My buddy is coming to pick up everything and dry at his house so that I can call maintenance to start fixing the leak.

Any Insight is greatly appreciated!

while not ideal i know people who harvest day 48 things i wouldent think of doing before day 56. you will have good smokeable bud just not as amazing of bud as it could have been in a week

Yea don't throw it out, it'll still get you through rough times. Just gonna a little heady in the buzz that's all.

Okay cool. What about making BHO? Since the trichs are not at the optimal ripeness (cloudy w/ some amber), is it worth the work or should I just make some butter? Like I said, I got a shit ton of trim and some smaller buds I threw in with it.

the whole plant has THC leaves stems buds you name it
but the most in the buds then the sugar leaves so you will have a smoke and taste

do what you want with it, but like i said i have friends that harvested yesterday and they were 100% clear cuz he wanted the weed now not in a week or 2. an another friend who does that shit every time on purpose. its still weed, and most people cant tell 1 bit of difference. clearly next time you will want to finish the run but id say just be happy this dident happen 2 weeks ago when hash really would have been your only option

You can make bho or any other type of hash just be careful to know that a solvent extract will extract everything, including residual fertilizers/pesticides. Its sounds as if you didn't have time to flush. If your heavy on the chem ferts then bho may not be the best decision. In your situation Ice water hash may be best. Furthermore, what the **** was leaking? Usually things don't leak up from the floor. Are you sure it wasn't coming out of the tent? ie: watering runoff, ac/dehumidifier, condensation. There are a slew of things that create extra water in a grow. Anyway, good luck with your buds.

Maintenance just left.. Apparently it was our central A/c unit. Every condo has a control unit with drainage built in for condensation. Well it clogged up, slowly flooding my rugs AND every apartment below me!! Which is 3 floors. He said he would have made it up to my apartment eventually to try and figure out the origin. So i definitely dodged a bullet. Now my buddy has all my bud to dry them and I'll take them back to cure..

Mentally exhausted, going to spark up a bowl and relax!

Good job on making the tough decision to pull early. I don't think i could have did it. Sometimes our gut really knows whats up. Chill out bro and plot on how your gonna overgrow your condo next run!

If you are assuming there is near a pound of smokable bud then man don't throw it out unless there is mold or problems! Im sure it will still still do the job. Heres one concern where you flushing or was she full of nuts? Also if anything you should be able to make some killer hash! Hope you next grow goes well, use patients like to have and produce our own med. and cannot depend on others 100% of time, Hope your leak is fixed and your next grow will be a go go and not a no no!!
