Weird flowering?

Three blue dream plants that have been outside since May. Have been flowering for the past month, but seem to be putting out lots of leaves rather than flowers? Had several stretches of hot days in the past few weeks. Foxtailing maybe? Also had a great funky smell during preflower, now not smelling much. Thanks!

Yea unfortunately joe blow is right, but the buds will be pretty much trash, very leafy and airy, not dense. Sorry this happened to you

Lol I’ve seen this many times and it’s never a good thing, they could get nice and frosty but he’ll get no weight and will be very leafy

Reminds me of grinspoon. It made some strange flower but the smoke was very unique.

Thanks for the replies, all. I’m guessing I didn’t quite ramp down on my lighting schedule enough before transplanting outside. Must have briefly flowered once they got out and vegged as the days got longer into June. It’s my first attempt, so lesson learned. It’ll be interesting to see how they turn out, from the sound of it!

I dunno about that, they don't have the typical reveg leaf structure although they have the twiggyness going on. Time will tell.

If that does happen to be a Dr. Grinspoon relative then you might have 13 - 14 weeks worth of flowering required to achieve maturity. Outdoors this is unlikely for obvious reasons.

I hope that you keep us posted as they grow out, I am curious how they do. I wonder if you ordered seeds from a bank like Barneys that also slings the grinspoon, maybe they got their beans mixed up...

Interesting. I’m in NorCal and was getting tomatoes well into October this past year, so they may have a chance to run their course. Will definitely keep posting them.

I’m just curious, have you ever seen a reveg plant? Cuz the op plant is exactly what they look like

Here are a few shots of the Dr. Grinspoon strain flower. It's not a good strain for bag appeal or yields but the smoke was good enough to win a second place in a cup.

I hear you I’m dealing with the same bud structure on one of my Guerilla grows. Shitty picture but you can see the weird bud structure basically no weight to them. It’s a Northern Light Blue Auto 7/8 way through flowering. Little underfed but the rest look fine
