Weird Experience making brownies..

So last night i make some killer brownies. I used olive oil to extract the THC. I kept my face rested on the vent right over the pot i was cooking with. and i noticed i started coughing a bit. then a little more.. then my eyelids got a little heavy and i noticed i was stoned. Then i started thinking and guessed that the "steam" that was coming from the pot was full of vaporized THC. But this is my guess.
