i was wondering whether a pound is 448 grams or 453. ive googled this but only got mixed answers. some say a true ounce is 28.34 grams and some say its only 28.

28 if your selling,,,,, 28.34 if your buying

I've always used 28 and 454 for oz and Lb. When bagging bud I usually put 29 g in each bag (kinda a baker's dozen kinda thing).

ty busmike and flagman for your answers. i have one last question though. when planting a germinated seed into the medium do you plant it root up or root down?

Root down normally, but either way nature will ensure that the root goes down and the leaf goes up, nothing wrong with helpin momma nature out though.
