I'm not even at 50% brown pistils yet, maybe 25% but new ones keep popping but I'm starting to get a lot of amber trichs. I tried to get a good pic but my camera sucks even on macro but in the first few pics you can see them..

What should I do?

to me the trichs look mostly cloudy!! and how many amber trichs are we talking about 10% 20%??? it looks like it can go 2-3 weeks like said above.
and the hairs do not matter like stated also i had a White Russian that had 100% orange hairs at 6 weeks and the plant went 9-1/2 weeks. and i also had plants that would have hairs that stayed white up threw harvest. i would let it go you will be very glad you did i would give it the last dose of bloom booster and start the flush the next time you water for another 2-3 weeks and you will end up with some nice narcotic smoke.

I honestly don't see the amber trichs you wrote of, if anything touches the bud or the trichs and disturbs them, within a few days the area that was touched will look amber in color.

any chance this is the case?

All i see is clear and cloudy. GL with your plants they look well.

Not the case because these buds do not get touched at all.. They are all over but I can't get a good shot holding the microscope to the camera and trying to find them lol.. here's a few but not focused well..

I agree with the others that the trichomes all look clear or cloudy to me. I don't see any amber ones in the pics. Your buds also do not look ready yet. I'd wait until the buds fattened up and the hairs start looking more pulled-in to the buds as opposed to sticking straight out like that.

Im with the majority those plants need atleast 10-14days before you harvest, I really dont see the amber trichs your talking about, but you can clearly tell from the bud structure that their in the last couple weeks of flowering, I would shoot for another 8-12days, maybe even a few days longer. Not sure where you are in your flush, but if not you should start flushing, you can use some molasses if you want, otherwise just straight ph'd water. Try to time harvest on a day where the plants would absolutely need watering, meaning very dry soil when you harvest, it will cut down on your drying time. Another practice Ive adopted was giving the girls 24-36hrs of pure darkness before chop, cause supposedly there is more trich production during the dark periods, which I have to say it does seem to pack on little extra frost, but it could just be a new superstition that I do before harvest. Your plants look great, nice and healthy, I would think you would have a lot more yellowing in your leaves if you've been flushing. So im humble opinion you have a minimum of atleast a week, depending on percentages of trich color and your personal preference you could prob wait another 14-20days if you wanted that good knock you on your arse high. You could always harvest a plant a little earlier than others and see once its all dried and cured what smoke you like the best. Plants look great, well done my man, peace!

Thanks, I have been watering with a light nute mix for the last week but plan on flushing from here on out. I have some blackstrap that I'll probably feed her for another week then I'll go straight water.

The burnt leaf tips are from the CFL hanging inside the plant, not nute burn, if anyone was curious lol.

yeah the hairs will really start to recede back into the bud, along with adding a little more bulkiness, which will be great cause they already look nice a fat. I wouldnt be worrying about early maturing trichs, they look pre-mature to me from the pictures, so just be patient and you'll give your girl what she needs to reach her full potential, assuming you allow for a slow dry and atleast a couple week curing to really get that skunky dank, smelling ganja. Remember growing is a science but curing is an art, so take your time with the majority of your bud to bring out all the NL has to offer, from what Ive heard nirvana has a great NL cut, so you should be very happy here soon, patience is a virtue, lol, enough with the mindless rambling, take care my man, peace

I gotta be honest with ya poster, I think you are just showing off your crop. I look at those pics and even w/o a loupe, can tell the trichs are not amber. If they were, those bud leaves would look golden. They don't. Your trichs are turning from clear to milky white.

Again amber trichs are obvious and I can't find one pic to support that claim. Nice crop, no problems, as you knew when you posted to show off your ladies. :)

Have a great harvest...

he probably thinks the pistils are trichs, only scenario I can imagine as those buds are not done at all. Pistils go brown, the amber you're supposed to look for is the trichs, only visible under a microscope. They go from clear to clear/cloudy to cloudy to amber. Pistils go from white to brown depending on strain you could even end up with orange or red. Like someone already said, dont harvest yet.

By the way, the buds look good, gonna be some heavenly WW smoke when they're done. Don't rush it!! :joint::leaf:
