Week 8 Tons of bud no Crystals No Smell 14 week sativa?

That's the thread this is based on.. If you see the pics it is flowering, really really slow. it's now week 8 of flower and the plant has no smell, and it also has no crystals but tons of buds..

Strain is Supreme Haze which is Original haze x Northern Lights.. Plant is around 4-5 feet tall, and the lower fan leaves are dropping faster than flies these days,( today I noticed tons of wilting leaves, thought it was too hot but after taking a long look realized that the plant is just eating more now than it was before, this is after I upped her organic nute dosage too. the breeder says ALL the leaves will yellow and die off so this was normal and I'm not too worried about..)


I switched the lights to 13/11 to help with darkness a week or two ago... how much longer before the resin production should start? All my other plants are already done but this one.

did you change it to 13 hours darkness? the way you have written it, it seems like you have increased the light to 13 hours, i hope you haven't or you might get re-veg.

in fact it looks like they might have gone in to re veg slightly, can't see the big pictures sorry

oh yes, sorry 13 off 11 on 7am-6pm

looks like you are in for a long ride i'm afraid, 14 weeks seems conservative to me.

good luck with her, i'm sure given the right care she will provide you with a nice sativa buzz

OMG what did I sign up for.... I was hoping that the leaves dying like they said they would would trigger trich and speed it up.. 20 WEEKS SMH .

what can i say, indoor sativas are a big gamble, there are strains out there that you could put in there on 12/12 from seed and they would probably finish faster than that thing will. patience will be required

I wont give up on her... gonna put some more seedlings in there 12/12 from start... wanted her to be done so I could clear out full spidermite infestation but fuck it, they arent that bad in the area and I will put some stuff on the soil to make them wanna die...

I feel for ya buddy,I grew a lanky ass sativa before that went 16 weeks(could have gone longer too),and at week 10 it was mainly all pistils and no trichs.
TBH,I wish I had just thrown it a week 10,and started again with something else.
Shit smoke,shit buzz,total waste of time and energy.
Don't give up though,you just never know.

let her grow! the low odor is probably due to the northern lights genetics. some haze strains are also low odor. GL

That's at least a bit re-assring. I have another one of these going that smells fucking great, crystals and way futher along in budding, HOWEVER its a month older, and 2x shorter... so I fgure gotta take 2.5 feet vs 5 feet as being different phenos..

heat.....................

I am pretty sure the heat is acceptable. No signs of that being an issue
