So its 6 weeks into flower and i have several different strains, some of the plants look really hard and hearty, like bulky, not like other plants that still need time to fill in, and it makes me nervous, when i rip off a calx from these and open it up I find a very very small seed looking thing, its like a light green. I'm not sure if its a seed but is the very inside of the calyx. I've checked and I havent seen any bananas shooting out, yet, but the calyx look bulky and long white hairs are shooting out. Is it just fatting up? I'm getting scared, theres like maybe 5 or 6 of these looking plants, it could be just the strain, but i dont want them to ruin everything. What do you think? I will post picture later today with close ups. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Put sum pics up pal, if they are herms you should really be able to see the male flowers amongst the females, look very carefully into the flowers you will be able to tell.

I will posting pics in just a couple hours, I know pics are a neccesity... its like long white pistels then when you follow the pistel down to the bud it is kinda greenish. It seems that the plants with these characteristics seem to be on the around perimeter of the garden. thanks for the response. will be posting pics, just waiting for the camera to come over.

If it looks like this thing here thats been circled, its probably a male flower. Otherwise I'd say its fattening up, some strains have calyx's that are almost round like balls.

its not really a protruding ball as much as that. but real tight bubbles. they just seem to be really bulky, roundy. Now most of these "questionable" are couch lock, which are a heavy indica, maybe there ripening faster? Most are lemon diesel which dont seem to have these characteristics. i'm week 7 i guess, its been like 47 days. if a couple are hermie will they pollinate the entire crop? It seems i only got a maybe 2 weeks left on the lemon diesel, which is the majority of the crop. i'll post the beautiful lemon diesel as well.

so here are the pics. You can see i ripped open the bulky, bubbly one and inside was the seed looking thing. it has progressed from normal bud to bubbly. I have a feeling this has spread to everywhere else... The lemon desiel is showing some amber, i think i should chop. because when i rip open those too i see the very early signs of what i see in the progessed one with the bubbly plant. I do not want this. what do you think. like i said i'm around the 50 mark and they are already pretty nice and dense. Thoughts please!!!

yea thats what i'm finding. small little seed like things and as they progress they get bigger. but hermie produce or can produce seeds right? cause i have no just male plants. I think i'm going to chop them! I cant deal with this. u think i should, the buds ar decently filled in I cannot have a harvest of with seeds, its not an option, if i stop them now, they are so small that they arent really seeds yet, just small plant material.

Dude relax. People always go straight to wanting to chop their plants at the first sign of trouble. She's not ready. Just keep an eye on here. If you feel like you really can't deal with them, then rip them off. But your whole crop will suffer if you chop now. Just calm down. You haven't even given it a day to think about it.

I have been watching them, i started to notice one plant looking wierd. now it is full of what i think small seeds, the others just seem to be going down the same path, they must have been pollinated. I have had a hermie before. If i rip the calyx open and go to the center its a small squishy seed, and as the past few days these "seeds" seem to be getting bigger, i think its a good idea to chop before they all turn bubbly seedy plant. Can someone convince me otherwise?

well my bagseed went through something similar and it was indeed herm caused. but, i still wouldn't chop. you can removed seeds, make hash, vape it, lots of things to deal with it being slightly lower grade. If you chop early, your just losing that much more of your potency. Let them finish naturally, no matter the herm or not. Inspect them after your trim for herm flowers and seeds. If so, worry less about your less than ideal crop and work more towards figuring out what caused the herm to begin with. Light leaks, heat issues, bagseed, there are lots of reasons it MAY have started, but either way you will need to wash your grow room down with a wet rag, maybe even a few times, to clean any pollen out.

Shit happens, but don't go choppin' early it wont help anything except give you a jump-start on cleaning the room out, and whats the point if you still haven't isolated the cause of hermaphroditism, let alone even confirm if that's the problem to begin with.

just my opinion, GL bud =D
