Week 5 flower, when do the plants start to get potent

I’m in week 5 flower got some seeds by in-house genetics, slurricane and garlic sherb both looking pretty nice so far. They don’t stink a lot yet right off the plant only if I touch them and smell my gloves. Was just wondering when each strain will start to pick it it’s individual smell, attached a few photos below. First 2 are garlic sherb and last 2 are slurricane

Good looking plants. I wouldn't worry too much about smells. It will come. Some stronger than others. Sometimes mine smell stronger when they are younger. They are all different but by the looks of those buds you'll be fine. Also depends on environment. Obviously a warm humid room is going to give off more terps than a cool dry room etc.

I dont think new trichs grow just per calyx and once broken Id be intregued if they actually do grow more. Any way when Im desperate I swipe some leafs but that usually dont always work and now I lost meds.

I just lean in reaallll close with my nose almost touching the buds smelling it. Just various spots of the bud. Some smell more or different from others sometimes. Maybe due to accidently touching it and spoiling some of the smells its not as original idk thats my bro science.

I been there before idk how many grows youve done but I just now got good at leaving them be. I lost incopiuos amounts of hash just machine trimming so thats why I wouldnt touch them, literally loses potency. Anyway I mostly came to say that but also wow! Beautiful buds Ill be damned if you dont end up happy with those!!

Very hashy Im surprised you dont have much to smell but strains grow different Ive only grown like 7 my whole life.

A lot of the smell/taste is going to come from the phenotype. In-house has always had some great pheno's on every strain I've done but some of the pheno's also didn't have a strong smell or taste. Starting from seeds kinda sucks because you have to grow them out first to find the good ones to clone
