best thing i could say is to compare your plants to the "plant help charts" and move forward from there. I think they need to eat but dont hold me to that as I am just a YoungJedi tryn to learn and master the ways of the force. I wish the best for you and your plants...

You really need to change your lights. I am no expert by any definition of the word, but you want at least 5000k cfl and personally I use the 6500k. The bulbs you are using now are for flowering. Try that and see what they do for you. Hope this helps.

so you think my lights are a problem?? What lights would you recommend for veg. I have a couple floodlights. Would that be better??

Not knowing your budget for this grow, just buy the most watts you can afford. Your lights are going to be the key to good vegging. You want to look at a few 42 watt cfl with a spectrum of 6400 or 6500k. That is just my opinion. I think that you will see a huge differenc in your rate of growth.

agreed. i use 2 6500k cfls, a t5 HO single strip 54w 4600 lumens, one 2600k cfl 23w, and one 23w soft white cfl to do my vegs so far so good. you need to get some "daylight" cfl in the mix to give it a far better mix....

6500k for veg with a small amount of 2700k preferred. And visa versa for flowering seems to be the best for cfls! But one opinion will not always match others!

Yeah bring that ph down, but don't need to use vinegar, just buy some ph up-down. Its cheap any where.

For my last run I vegged for a day or two short of four weeks. All my plants were between 18 and 22 inches tall and wider than the 5-gallon pots I used for the run.

Maybe the difference is HID lighting (MH for veg) instead of CFLs.
