Week 4 of flower....trim excess leaves?

So I’m into week 4 of flower for my gorilla glue X and I’m just wondering if I should trim away any fan leaves or if I should trim away new branches that are starting at the bottom of the plant?

here’s some pictures from today...I unfortunately didn’t get any of the new little skinny branches that are about 10 inches long at the bottom.

Really hoping to get a solid yield from this girl.

opinions?

Also would like to get the lights lower to about 12” above the other colas but that one main one is too tall and I can’t bend it out of the way....suggestions??

Look up supercroping, pinch and twist that tall bitch

I know supercropping but I’m in week 4 of flower. If I was in veg I would do that. By doing what you state I would be risking a massive bud yield of that main cola

It looks bendable. No right angle, a nice sweeping curve. I did a bunch of mine a week back.
