hey guys, hows it going :)
week2 of flowering, all of my sub branches are devoloping nicely, but my Maine cola is barely developing at all??
is it because of
1. i have the 2 25W 4000k around the top and the 2 28W 3000k around the lower ones since i put into 12/12 so they are getting the right spectrum?
2. i don't have a light above the main cola, only to the sides

or does it just happen like this, its my first grow :)

also you can tell from the pic
that plants about 80cm week 2 of flowering i think im gonna be out of room, comments?

My main colas normally develop and become visible 1st, and continue to beat the competition, it may be because you don't have as much light on that part.

hmm, tomorrow morning when the lights come on im going to raise my light shelf and put of the bulbs above it, hopfully that will help the development of the top cola, but because im runnning out of space, having no light above the plants top, in theory should stop it growing up?

Having no light on the top won't realy stop it from growing, the lack of light will make it grow slower but other things determine if it stops growing, the lower leaves are getting light so the plant can still grow.

idk cone.. my plants are outdoors and one of them is just small as hell also.. its fully budding and just uber small.

one issue you have is the pot or gallon thing is to small.. that plant is way old. and you didn;'t let it develop.. thats prolly why its stretched and unhealthy looking.

There are other ways to deal with space than starving the top of light, try training it sideways, the tops will still head upwards, but you limit the height it has already attained. Plants normally grow with light above them, I have always been pretty tight on that rule of nature.
