Week 13 flowering with still white pistils

Hi Guys, this power Africa fast sativa strain is really confusing me. There is definite indication of Amber trichromes on the buds but the flowers are still shooting some white pistils.. thoughts and advice appreciated.

So is the correct answer, when the pistils have changed color and have shrunk back toward the flower???

kinda a nube to hemp . . .grown indoors for yrs

Some plants will shoot a handful more white pistils out right before theyre ready to harvest. I learned that last month. I had a sour diesel turn all pistols red and curl in. But thrichomes said wait a few weeks. As soon as the trichs started getting cloudy, all the buds popped some fresh pistils. Waited two more weeks and chopped. Still had the fresh white pistils

Today’s trichromes what do you think?

Thank you. I think they're looking pretty darned good but no where near ready yet. These Sativa's can go a really long time. I'd check back with us in 2 weeks and we'll have another look. But my personal opinion - you have 5 weeks left.

thank you mate. I’ll give you guys an update in 2 weeks. I’ve switched lights to 10/14, hoping to quicken up the process.

5weeks left will take me to week 18/19! Has anyone experienced flowering this long?

Why switch to 10/14
I don't see the benefit?

Are you running 1200 PPM on the 500 scale or 700 scale? If 500, that's pretty hot, especially for a sativa. If you're not having any issues, I'd say keep what you're doing.

With some landraces it's actually best to harvest bud by bud as they ripen over a long period of time. I've done that with Malawi before. I don't think your plant is ready yet, but see if some buds/branches are maturing faster than others. Just keep an eye on it, don't worry, it won't overripen.

Rurumo is right. It is not uncommon to harvest the top main cola and let the rest of the plant mature for a week or three. Especially when using LED lights because they dont penetrate the canopy as well as others. But judging by the pictures. Get back with us in a couple weeks, way too many white pistils. All but a couple will turn color and curl in before it shoots fresh ones at harvest. My sour diesel was all red for daya before new white ones grew

Hi guys update with pics. I noticing lesser new white stigmas and it looks to me like 80% of the plant is covered in Amber trichromes. What do you guys think?
