hey guys, i live in the northeast, but this invasive weed is located everywhere, japanese knotweed. May be a pain in the ass but i use it to attract all the local bee's, they have been saying the population of bee's has been dropping drastically, the last few weeks they have been flowering and the amount of bee's have been just amazing, they are also good brush for blocking out those nosy neighbors, anyone else out there who have a simliar situation

I get a lot of bees, I've always got something blooming.

Personally I think the drop in bee population is related to the used of pesticides such as Sevin. A lot of people around here use that crap to kill the Jap beetles, but they're killing the bees and butterflies too.

It makes me sad.
